The wait is almost over...Hollow Knight developer Team Cherry has announced a release date for Hollow Knight: Silksong during Gamescom 2025...the highly anticipated metroidvania will be available for purchase on Xbox Game Pass, Steam, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and DRM free on GOG and Humble Bundle on September 4th 2025

It's pretty crazy how much harder Silksong is than old HK. Enemies are far faster, have a bunch more HP, and deal double damage. There are also a lot more dark areas where it's almost impossible to see. I'm enjoying it a lot but I don't see myself doing a second playthrough even though I played through HK multiple times.
